Coroner called to reported plane crash scene in Cambria County; FAA provides new info

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — UPDATE | In a statement given by the Federal Aviation Administration, it was announced that a twin-engine Piper PA-30 crashed in a wooded area of Cambria County just before 4 p.m. According to the Cambria County Coroners Office, there were two people on board at the time and both were pronounced dead at the scene. The statement says that the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Honda recalls over 187K top-selling vehicles

UNDATED (WKRC) - Honda has recalled over 187,000 top-selling vehicles. According to CBS News, Honda recalled about 187,000 Ridgeline pickup trucks due to a problem with the rearview camera. Per the network, the cameras may stop working in cold, wintery weather. The affected vehicles are 2020-2024 Honda Ridgeline pickup trucks, which were manufactured between November 2019 and April 2024, per CBS.Citing documents submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) by Honda, CBS reported the camera wiring on the affected Ridgelines are susceptible to cracking, as a result of water and salt attaching to the wiring in low temperatures.

SPCA issues citations for neglect of farm animals in Clearfield County

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — The Clearfield Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has issued several citations after removing animals from a farm. The SPCA said they issued five non-traffic citations against Brian Knepp after he failed to provide a clean and sanitary shelter for the animals. The SPCA said the animals were kept in deep mud and manure in 28-degree weather. State police assisted with the removal of the animals from the property: a mini pony, three calves and a goat.

BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) — Victim statements were released for the Lori Vallow Daybell case on Friday. According to court documents, there are four named victims, Tylee Ryan, Joshua Jaxon Vallow (JJ), Tamara Daybell and the United States government. A jury determined Tylee, JJ and Tamara all died by homicide. Idaho law says the victims’ rights may be applied equally to the immediate families of homicide victims. Colby Ryan is the half-brother and adoptive brother to Tylee and JJ.

3 Munson men charged for sexually abusing animals

MUNSON – Pennsylvania state police served a search warrant Saturday after reports of animal abuse in Clearfield County. According the official, the three men have been having sexual intercourse with animals. District attorney Bill Shaw said the charges are part of an ongoing investigation into the abuse of animals. “This is an unpleasant topic, but the facts are that we received a report of folks having sexual intercourse with animals, farm animals,” Shaw said.
