Bishop Guilfoyle will soon be known as Bishop Guilfoyle Academy after the combination of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic School and Holy Trinity Catholic School this upcoming school year, according to a press release. SAN ANTONIO, Texas (WOAI/KABB) — A jury has convicted a man accused of beating his girlfriend's 5-year-old son to death and dumping his body in the river. Daniel Garcia was on trial for the 2021 murder of 5-year-old Domenic Aguilar Acevedo. Police say Domenic was at an extended stay near Fort Sam Houston when he was beaten to death. The boy's mom and her boyfriend were accused of trying to cover up what happened by tossing his body in the Colorado River.
