The transaction on August 16 coincided with a purchase of Molson Coors within the same price range. That company owns big brews such as Blue Moon, Coors Light and Hamm’s. Justice Alito appears to have lost out on the trade, however, as Anheuser-Busch stock traded at $55.

Parents share tragic tale of trooper son killed by impaired driver to warn students

West Branch Area High School students heard from the parents of a former state trooper who was killed by an impaired driver in 2008. During the speech on Tuesday, the Iwaniec family said that there have been more than 170,000 DUI-related deaths over the last 16 years. They spoke to West Branch students specifically about one of those, their son kenton, who was killed while driving home from work. On March 27, 2008, state trooper Kenton Iwaniec finished his shift in Chester County and began to drive home.

Penn State suspends fraternity through Summer 2024 due to hazing allegations

A Penn State fraternity has been suspended through the summer of 2024 for allegations of misconduct related to hazing, university officials announced Friday. Penn State’s Office of Student Conduct launched a joint investigation into the Alpha Psi Chapter of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity after receiving “allegations of hazing during the new member education process, as well as allegations involving furnishing alcohol to students under the age of 21 and violations of University regulations regarding their recruitment practices.

State College Borough, local sewer authority at odds over billing rate increase

State College, PA (WJAC) — A billing dispute between State College Borough and the Centre region's main sewage authority is now a court suit with the authority claiming that the borough owes hundreds of thousands of dollars. The lawsuit stems from action taken by the University Area Joint Authority, which provides wastewater treatment for most of the Centre County region. Late last year, the authority approved a higher rate to process the borough's sewage.

Suspect in Aniah Blanchard disappearance arrested, faces kidnapping charges

The manhunt for a man wanted in connection with the disappearance of Alabama student Aniah Blanchard was arrested Friday night in Florida. U.S. Marshals in Montgomery, Alabama called the U.S. Marshals after receiving a tip that 30-year-old Ibraheem Yazeed was possibly in Escambia County. Auburn Police Department identified Yazeed as a suspect and issued a first-degree kidnapping warrant Thursday. They identified him as dangerous and possibly armed. U.S. Marshals told us they converged on the area and spotted him wearing all black, and called the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office for assistance.

Bicyclist killed after being struck by pickup truck in Indiana County

Indiana County, PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Indiana County say a bicyclist was killed early Wednesday morning after being struck by a pickup truck along Old Route 119 in White Township. County coroner Jerry Overman identified the victim as Noah Chappell, of Indiana. Officials say Chappell was reportedly traveling southbound, near 550 Old Route 119, when he was struck by a Ford F-150 pickup truck. Investigators say Chappell was pronounced dead at the scene, just before 5 a.
