FORT BENNING, Ga. - A U.S. Army Ranger and Penn State graduate was killed in a single tactical vehicle accident in Fort Benning, Georgia.
1st Lt. Connor Bednarzyk, 25, was killed in the accident Sept. 7.
Bednarzyk was assigned as the platoon leader of the Distribution Platoon, Echo Company, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, according to a U.S. Army news release.

SPRING MILLS, CENTRE CO, Pa (WJAC) — A Spring Mills man is facing several charges after police say he assaulted a woman and threatened her with a gun.
Joseph Klinger, 32, is accused of assaulting the woman on Thursday and then threatening to shoot her, according to a criminal complaint.
Klinger faces nearly a dozen charges related to the incident, including simple assault, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, making terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person, police say.
SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — 911 officials in Somerset County say three people were injured, including two police officers, after flames broke out at a residence Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency officials say crews were called to the home, located along the 400 block of Clark Street, in Somerset Borough, around 1:30 p.m.
Authorities say the two officers were treated at UPMC Somerset for smoke inhalation.
Officials say a third individual was also transported to UPMC Somerset with unknown injuries.
