SPRING MILLS, CENTRE CO, Pa (WJAC) — A Spring Mills man is facing several charges after police say he assaulted a woman and threatened her with a gun. Joseph Klinger, 32, is accused of assaulting the woman on Thursday and then threatening to shoot her, according to a criminal complaint. Klinger faces nearly a dozen charges related to the incident, including simple assault, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, making terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person, police say.

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — 911 officials in Somerset County say three people were injured, including two police officers, after flames broke out at a residence Tuesday afternoon. Emergency officials say crews were called to the home, located along the 400 block of Clark Street, in Somerset Borough, around 1:30 p.m. Authorities say the two officers were treated at UPMC Somerset for smoke inhalation. Officials say a third individual was also transported to UPMC Somerset with unknown injuries.
